If Battlefield 4 or Cod Ghosts get above an 8, I've lost all faith in games journalism. Seriously, how many Call of Duty games have there been since CoD4? 6, at least? I'm pretty sure every single one of those scored above an 8.
Arkham Origins does not deserve the reviews it's getting.
@billlabowski I agree, the game feels solid, the themes are awesome. Based on what I've played last night I'd give it a solid 8. And the visuals ARE stunning on PC, not to mention they actually got the DX11 features working without melting PC's around the world this time
Also, I really really REALLY hope devs watch and read and listen to sites, and comments like these. So many valid points made that just are not being fulfilled
Hmm, I've clocked probably over 40 hours on AC3, probably far more than any of the others. It had it's flaws but definitely didn't deserve the hate it got, I felt that came out of nowhere. I do think however, that Ubisoft tend to oversell their games far too much and leave nothing for the consumer to discover when playing the game, as you said in the video. For games that are open world and are all ABOUT exploration, it just cheapens the experience and as a result probably leaves people disappointed, which is a shame because they are amazing games.
Give anything enough time and you can look back and only see it;s flaws, just wait. Everyone will soon be ratting on GTA V for the overhyped, overrated game that it is, JUST like GTA 4!

I used to post fairly regularly here and it's always nice to see some thought provoking debates going on, but yeah, recently everything's gone to shit and people just don't seem to understand how to interact with each other anymore
@Greyskin1 @bluefox755 @MetalGearX1 There's no form of empathy on the internet, you say a bad thing to someone in real life, you see them react, it makes you feel bad. You say a bad thing to someone on the internet, it does almost feel like some kind of release. It feels good. I think this is inherently bad and could potentially shape future generations to be actually pretty horrible people, so I think having civilised, moderated sites is a very, VERY good idea. If you want to spout your hate filled opinion, do it on your own site, don't dump it on other people.
