@Sepewrath: Why wouldn't they? Who in their right mind shows their entire hand before the game even starts? These guys aren't stupid. These are the same guys that led the PS4 and dominated all of this gen...so whether you like them or not, I wouldn't underestimate them.
And there's still a lot of console games you can't play on PC but there's nothing wrong with PC gaming. I just prefer consoles is all.
@Iemander: To address your first paragraph, you must have forgotten that Nvidia is tech, not a games company. According to your logic, people shouldn't buy consoles at all and game on their PC but why do people buy consoles? THE EXCLUSIVES... Plus not everyone is into opening a PC and enhancing it when they can buy something that's ready to go. PC graphics cards have trumped that of consoles for years now yet consoles still strive. Regardless, many of your statements were premature because 1.) Sony hasn't announced EVERY game that they're launching with and 2.) They haven't announced a price yet. Now...on to paragraph 2
Yes. People are suffering from budget cuts. Millions are...but you also have millions that are doing alright. In regards to the gaming community, any smart gamer has been saving pennies for quite sometime just for this event so if you think the PS5 isn't going to sell out within days, you haven't been watching the game my friend. Being that more people are stuck in the house more than ever, this console is going to sell out in hours and Sony knows it. That's why they're doing this. They want to remain in the forefront of console gaming and as you can see, they're willing to do almost anything to do so. Gotta love tenacity lol
And I agree with you on that. I don't doubt that MS will sell $300 next-current gen boxes because price is always a factor. If you can't swing it, you simply can't swing it but...most people will gladly shell out an extra $100 for a 6TF power advantage that comes with great 4K exclusives versus one that doesn't. It only makes sense (assuming digi 5 will be $399.99).
Competition is always good but PC will always win the hardware race. Games...now that's between Sony and Nintendo lol
@kutraz: Insomniac recently teased MM on twitter yesterday showing off the ray tracing and other effects with meme. S:MM is going to be a gorgeous looking game. I've seen new footage already. It's definitely next level. You'll see.
