Too little too late, M$ has already lost the confidence of buyers with there 'announcements' earlier this year. You can put plasters on a sinking ship but its still going to sink in the end. I feel sorry for anyone who jumps too early and wastes money on that thing.
Lack of SP mode and that price, Forget it. Shame as it looked like it might have been fun, making it MP only is a very bad idea on the developers part (probably EA in some way too) [I'd give it a month at most before the majority of players jump ship to another game leaving only a handful of players continuing to bother. Happens all the time with things like this]
Nah, you are playing on people and putting the prices of the game and the DLC (which has rapidly gone from 2 packs to 4 in a year) as sheep will buy anything really.
[its the one friend has it must get it to play online mentality. Last COD I bought was MW1 which remains the best in my opinion. I kinda got bored with COD once I played BFBC2, even BF3 sucked in comparison to that game. ESp with the Vietnam expansion]
Hmm, Didn't shaymin alter into a different form when you had a particular item for it (its stats and appearance altered during the day into its sky forme). Seems very similar to that type of thing to me.
This list is kinda pointless. Every single person who has ever played a game this gen has there own favourite of this gen. (Personally I hated skyrim for its tedious repetition of environments, textures and enemies & I never played it again after putting dragons dogma into my disk tray.)
The only thing I can't stand is region locking on the 3DS. I have a first gen DS which will play any DS game from anywhere in the world. I have a few american and japanese only game for it which never got a release where I live.
Its the region locking on the 3DS that put me off buying one (I do a lot of travelling worldwide and want to be able to buy a game for my handheld console and play it regardless of where I bought it.).
Simple solution - put the kinect in a special container where it cannot see nor hear you. Nobody said you had to leave it where you could se it only that you need to have it plugged in.
Simpler solution refuse to support this business practice and don't buy the console.
This single use DRM crud has been on PC's for years and that led to the drop in physical sales of PC games as people used code generators to bypass the codes that were boxed in physical copies of PC games. I suspect that this will happen very quickly with the xbox one.
If they do charge for the activation of used game or use a devious trick to make money from sales of second hand games then all they will do is kill the rental market, kill the used game market and drive piracy levels up.
If I remember correctly the guys behind the witcher 2 gave us a good comparison simulation with there game. The DRM free version outsold and had fewer pirated copies than the DRM'd version.
I for one will wait and see what the final products actually have before I decide if I want any further part in console gaming. {I won't go to PC gaming due to the already rife DRM and pirating crap taking place there.}
without a set time limit for gathering kills this will just be won by people with no lives at all. Open ended events like this just reward excessive players.

Not paying extra for DLC that has not yet been described and may not get released.
You could be paying $30 for anything. For all we know gearbox might just add four more characters and that'll be your DLC pass content, wait till they announce something about what this DLC season pass will cover before spending money on it. {You could end up with the borderlands 2 equivalent of the saints row 3 night blade pack if you rush and buy the season pass before they indulge us as to what this DLC will actually be.}
