....for a hunk of red meat to block up my colon. another star wars movie, however, is something that i can live without. are they secretly hoping that we as their collective audience will somehow experience mass amnesia and forget everything after Empire Strikes Back?
'disney values?' i thought their only values were to wreck perfectly good franchises and making a ton of money doing it? lay off the PC crap and let people be.
oh....joy. i can hear the writing staff now, 'reference? comics? background material? who needs that crap?! we'll just call her 'super girl' and back fill the story with whatever we find. worked for 'last jedi' didn't it?' yep...i can just hear them... do we the fans really need another reason to walk out cursing the name of DC Comics again?
Avenger's 4 is the ONLY film on my radar right now. dancing stormtroopers? jawas jumping through flaming hoops on mini bikes? kickboxing CGI obi wan kenobi? i don't care what they bring out (ok CGI kenobi doing some nasty Muay Thai moves maybe) i'm not even thinking about the train wreck to come.
@aross2004: ok, that's all i'm asking...the sad tragic death of a beloved character to bring a tear to the most jaded viewer or mary poppins which pretty much caused everyone to vomit with rage? was it REALLY that hard a choice??
