Windows.old is all your files from your previous install. So if you've already saved all the files you wanted, you can go ahead and delete it.General_X

Its your old files. When you reinstall now it doesn't delete everything. Delete the .old one.keiblerfan69

Hi!! I have a question since I don't want to make my comy go boom!

I reinstalled windows on my laptop!! And in the place called (C:) I have two folders. One is called Windows. The second is called Windows.old. Can I delete the Windows.old file? It takes up over 30 gigs of space and the bar is red, which means low memory I'm guessing? But is it okay to delete that file as long as I leave the other alone?

My mom left, my dad is in jail and I live with my friend.
