Speaking of Nintendo, I need to go back and play my Wii some more. At least when I used that console, I had fun with my GAMES. Some of the other titles on the PS3 and 360 look nice, but I really hate games that are riddled with Quick Time Events.
I grew up with the first Super Smash Brothers on the Nintendo 64 and loved it. I missed out on Melee sadly and Brawl was kinda good. The 4th game, yes, had better get rid of tripping (which was annoying) and those damn Smash Balls. It's stupid to play a match with my siblings and they demand that Smash Balls be part of the items. Even with them, I still kick their asses every time.
As long as they don't go overboard with third-party characters, I'll be happy. Sonic and Snake were pretty good additions to an already good roster. And please, give a lot of the 'clones' more variations. Even tone down some of the overpowered ones. I mean, Metaknight is my favorite overall but damn. I see why people hate him so much. Then again, I don't stoop to those levels just to win a match.
Muramasa was one of the many rare moments where I appreciate a game for the way it looks. Gameplay always means more to me, but in Muramasa's case, I made an exception. A gorgeous looking game and great gameplay to boot.
For now, I like the controller aspect of the Wii-U. It's different from the traditional controller and like any new console, it opens up the gate for a mega ton of innovation. I'd like to get one myself. But Nintendo needs to show what games they're releasing when the Wii-U comes out. What we saw with Legend of Zelda and New Super Mario Bros. Mii looks great, but I'd like to see more. Sony and Microsoft should take their time. Don't rush into the market yet. Sony did that and are still getting humbly owned by the 360 and the Wii. And this is coming from a PS3 owner.
HOW exactly does this put a stop to piracy? All this will do is kill the Internet completely. Plus, there's no way that gaming companies should support this.

I'm sorry, EIGHT? 8-year olds don't even know about Duck Tales or how awesome it is in comparison to the garbage that Cartoon Network and Teen Nick spoon feeds them....I'm looking at YOU, Ben 10. A lot of people who voted for Launchpad were trolls, yes, but people who grew up with him when he was a lovable goof for Darkwin Duck and a badass in Duck Tales. Get your facts right, buddy.
It's clear as day that the staff of GameSpot are just as upset as most of the users here about Launchpad winning. See that mirror over there? Good. Now you guys know who to blame for this 'tournament' going haywire from the get go.
Dr. Mercer and Kendra from Dead Space. I hated Kendra from the beginning and Lord knows how much I hate Mercer with the amount of crap he's done during the whole game.
