If take two can't support it's best talent after making hundreds of millions of dollars from Red Dead Redemption then I hope another studio will. Take Two wouldn't be where it is today without R*.
@i_am_kesmonkey: One video from a year ago isn't *showing off" much when the game is a month away. Especially when not everyone pays attention to everything from E3.
Things I'd like to see return from classic Doom: campaign co-op, maze/catacomb like levels, hidden areas, hidden weapons, various difficulty levels.
If the Doom 4 story doesn't look long enough or interesting enough and to leave any of these features out of the game then this won't be worth $60 USD imo.
@turretx7: Being critical of one of my favorite series isn't negativity, just my honest opinion. They're focusing on arena MP and that doesn't interest me at all. Not enough info has been released to have a good idea about SnapMap, so I can't base my purchase decision on the single player only campaign. I wish I had your optimism.
@turretx7: SnapMap isn't campaign. Hopefully it's going to be as good as other map editors, and I they haven't shown us much to know what to look forward to. So unless id is going to make some base maps to play co-op in snapmap it won't be a mode to look forward to on day one.
@mrdinghat: Completely agree. If this was SP missions I would be on top of it, like the Fallout 4 DLC. I would spend another $50 for a co-op campaign though.
@pablopoulo: I totally agree. If they wanted a multiplayer scene just let the community do that themselves with snapMap, and add a co-op campaign option like the first two games had (and 3's Resurrection of Evil). Needless to say I will not be buying the DLC at $15 a piece... if at all.
