I'd say play Eternal Sonata first, it is more like the Tales series. The only down side is lack of trophies. FFXIII is a lot different from it's elders, AI controls your party, and the game doesn't get Interesting until about 3/4 into it. Cool thing is that If you get specific trophies in the game they unlock Themes for your XMB. :)
The amount of freebies and discounts this month is gonna be crazy. RE4 is 50% off so that's pretty good.

Save $5 if I pay $18 (3 months). I still don't think it is worth a 3 month subscription. Street Fighter 3: Third Strike has 20% off which I think is $2 off?
theres $5 of your $17 one spends, but if you factor in all the free sega ports (which are $10 a piece), the resistance 3 and AC: Revelations Betas, and the convenience of Automatic Download.. I would say its healthy for any core gamer's wallet.
