I cant play games that arent ff for more than 2 hours at a time dunno why. im playing dark chronicle, its a hard game and its not great so far.

Same here. I can play a FF game for hours but shooters and other games without a decent story wear me out after an hour or two.

You are all way ahead of me. I've only watched AC 6 times. It seems like I see something I missed the previous times each time I watch it. I'll probably watch it again next week if I can finish some of my other games to free up time....

It didn't take them long to do the DQ game on the DS. I do wonder what took them.

It really is strange that it seems like everything with a FF in the title is slow to be reviewed. Even FFT:WOTL took almost a week and GS was doing quite a bit of previews for this one.:?

It looks good....despite the fact Nippon Ichi seems determined not to go past 2D graphics.....they've got into the 3D realm a bit...and I know the cute sprites are what makes Disgaea unique. But when you play a game like Folklore or Heavenly Sword and you go back to Disgaea....it just doesn't feel like it should have the PS3 symbol slapped on it...more like PS2...or PS1.

I was a little surprised to still see the 2D graphics. I would have expected some change since it is now on the "next-gen" console.

I personally think they should've released it for the psp... the graphics make sense on that medium..... *shrugs* and I prefer strategy games on handhelds.

I agree. I MUCH prefer strategy RPGs on the handhelds. It is just so much easier to be able to start and stop strategy RPGs than action ones.

With AOD, I wonder why Nippon isn't making this on the PSP (or another original Disgaea)....

I'm on the second disc , and the game is really picking up thanin the first disc.

I'm just finishing the 1st disk. I was spending some time leveling so it is taking a bit. I just finished destroying the 4 of the 6th "thing" in the last area of disk 1 (about 30 hours so far).

I heard that things really pick up even more in the 3rd disk.

Yea you're almost done. Make sure to hold on while you're gathering those 7 pieces, it can get quite tedius. But like I already said, the last dungeon and ending are quite worth it!!

I agree with the whole sailing thing, I've wanted to replay this game lots but the sailing really just turns me off from it.

It wasn't my favorite but the story was fairly good. It did give more info on Vincent. The game play was not very good and the cutscenes did come at very odd times but I am glad that I played it.
