If Kinect sucks in gaming yet is revered in other non-game related applications, then why is it bundled in Xbox one in the first place?
Is it just a marketing gimmick of MS, since releasing it solo may not get the buzz it's receiving these days? It's like "for $100 more, you get this device which is awesome if you can use it for something else - just not for gaming"
Yes, the motion control commands for xbone is pretty awesome, but without games backing it up, that would be an expensive remote control. I mean, it is understandable that kinect 1 games failed, but for next gen? Kinect controls for games is no longer a new idea for MS.

People who keeps saying that "steam sales are the best and will destroy console games forever!" are like those people who buys an Iphone 3 since its cheaper, and then brags about it to either those who bought it full price years ago, or to those who owns an Iphone 5. You know what? Nobody cares!

Bragging about how cheap you got a game that was made a couple of years ago doesn't make sense. It's cheap because it's an old title, regardless if you haven't played it yet.
If Steam sells AC4 for even at least $10 now (not next year or so) - then that would be the only time it merits a game changer.

@sammoth Just because it looks better doesn't make it a great game. And if it is a great game, graphics certainly becomes secondary.
I reckon you're one of those gamers who haven't experienced playing games on N64 right? Graphics there are dreadful in today's standards - but some of those games like Mario 64, are one of the greatest of all time. And yeah, N64 is a console.

@malfestus Getting tired of people bitchin' about how "consoles are crap" , "stop being console slaves" or "PC master race FTW". Can't we just get along?
I mean, when console exclusives comes out, many PC gamers petition to have it released on PC or rumors start coming out like "Last of us for PC!"
Truth is, no matter how you belittle console gaming just because you have a great PC rig doesn't mean you don't peek and hope that their games gets ported to the PC as well. Game developers gets their money's worth on the consoles because of piracy in PC. Once they got their fair share of the green, it helps create better games, which also creates great steam sales. Everybody wins.
I am not a fanboy of any console, nor a PC purist - I am a gamer, that's it.

If they allow mouse and keyboard functionality to Xbone, wouldn't that affect the MS titles released on PC?
MS would be like, "Since Xbone works with the mouse and keyboard, there's no need for PC ports - they can get Xbone and play the exclusives there."

@faizanhd That would be for gamers who are accustomed to hack n' slash and gets away with it alive. I reckon you haven't tried battling 5 skeletons at the graveyard at level 1, which is why you say you haven't died that much. (Or you're not a hack n' slash type of guy)
Dark Souls is a patience game - you have to be patient leveling up, instead of plowing through every quest.
