Can you run a CPU that FSB is 1333MHz on a board that accepts CPUs that are 800MHz and 1066MHz? With this bottle-neck the build I'm thinking of making? Or can it run, just wont let the CPU run at it's full potential?

First time? CoD2 at walmart. But when they came out and I got one, Geometry Wars. Still one of my favorite arcade games for the system.

Then I guess I'm confused why you linked to your own build.

Alright, but would this work for my set up? The PSU is my biggest concern because I don't understand it at all. I need to know if there will be enough connections for everything I want to do, and then some in case I want to upgrade my rig even more in the future.

So, my first build on New Egg was not great because it was my first time learning what it takes to make a PC.

Anyways, Here is my new rig that I what to get if it gets aproval, aka you guys (gals?)

Mother Board - EVGA 122-CK-NF68-T1

CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

GPU - GeForce 8800GT Supercloked 512MB

RAM - 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800

Cheap DVD Drive

Hard Drive - 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB SATA 3.0Gb/s

I already have a Monitor, keybard, and mouse and I'm gonna use an old case for the new computer.

I'm planning on getting a second GPU and run in SLI when I get enough money, so what kind of power supply would I need? And is this a good set up? Thanks in advance!!:)

just for computer. If I have any money left over, I will get a monitor, keyboard/mouse. I have an old monitor I can use for right now and a fairly decent keyboard/mouse too.

I thinking about changing my build to include a board that has two SLI ports. The thing is is that they are kind of pricey and the only one I can find is this, but it got mixed reviews.

My plan is to get a 8800gt and when money permits, get another and hook the two together.

PS, I'm on a budget!!!
