The problem with the movie was clearly moving from the different timelines, that's is when u are in the animus and when u come out of the animus, in a game it will work because u are engaged in it, but in a movie I don't think it will work. The approach should have been start the movie from say Altair, don't tell the audience someone is an animus, fresh out the assassins and the templer universe so the audience understand the premise of the movie, that can be chapter 1, bring Altair story to the screen. The audience can be shown the animus say in a third movie, the. U can tell the present day story. So I think Game movies always fail because of the approach. The moment they attach game to it , then it turns to suck, same with the prince of Persia movie.
This game does not deserve 6 , this is step far down from mafia 2, repetitive gameplay, bad graphics with lots of bugs on the PC , they had the opportunity to make a great game but just wasted it. Why create a huge world with nothing to do, they could have added an underground fist fight, was hopping they will expand that from the mafia 2, when Vito went to prison. No car race, they could even have added poker game, u can't even change clothes. All u have is going round shooting repeated characters, with poor AI. Its high time gamers boycott this developers from rushing games and giving us shit( excuse my language).
This is a step backwards for the franchise, won't talk about the bugs and glitches, and after witcher 3 am surprise developers are still giving gamers repetitive gameplay. Not impressed with mafia 3. Picking up my old Mafia to play again
