Forza 3?lol, thats funny. But even better, put some killer-exlusives inside the box. I heard Microsoft ran out of those in 2008.

check it out.
do you think it will work?
So they could have basically dropped the price of the hdd, the cosole, and given Live away for free and still been okay financially? So you are bragging about how much money they profited off of you last year? What's wrong with this picture? how's that dreamcast going?[QUOTE="Vadamee"]MSFT made $375,000,000 in cash last quarter... and has stopped loosing money on the 360 in Dec. 2006. Sony needs to become profitable before they criticize the competition thats beating them in hardware and software sales.furomaster_99
Rob Dyer, senior vice president of publisher relations at Sony America, has stated:
"They have very few first-party studios at Microsoft. Bungie's next Halo is the last one, Rare rarely puts out anything, you've got Peter Molyneux with his Fable stuff... but they don't have first-party development studios inside at Redmond or anywhere for that matter. We do."
"So rather than putting their money behind that, they've been going to Epic or Valve or BioWare to do what they did with Mass Effect, and that's where they throw their dollars"
"We're not going to compete with Microsoft on that front," he continued. "But what we have is a global business here. Our global business is bigger than 360's and will continue to get bigger than 360, and people are seeing that. We passed them in Europe and they don't even exist in Japan, and we're going to catch them and pass them here in the US as well.""
A gauntlet has been thrown i'd say :o

under Valve:

- Half Life 2: Episode 1
- Half Life 2: Episode 2

88mphSlayer
you forgot:
Half-life: blue shift
Half-life: Oposing force
:P
You forgot all of the Marathon and Myth games, as well as Oni. Just saying. Valve is a better developer from an objective standpoint, strictly in terms of what they did for the industry. But I like Bungie's games better.[QUOTE="DarkLink77"][QUOTE="88mphSlayer"]

i'd say Valve was the infinitely more successful dev, partly because they didn't have somebody like Microsoft to fall back on for support and distribution while Valve has pretty much created their own distribution platform and on top of that cranked out new IP's

i thought the thread was about battle of the decade meaning 2000-2010
Marathon and Myth were 90's titles
you make a strong point.... just add marathon 2 (the XBLA version) and Oni then, they're both from this decade[QUOTE="88mphSlayer"]You forgot all of the Marathon and Myth games, as well as Oni.
