The **** controls, no lock on, and time limit are all there in the real games and are intentional. They don't want you just gathering, running around shooting it once and leaving like a pansy for 2 hours. I've only ever lost 1 mission due to time, and that was because I was a big noob still and wasn't upgrading my weapons. Each weapon has it's own speed and style, so you gotta learn your weapon and learn the monster's patterns! It's a really really cool game if you put in the time to 'learn' it. Best played locally with friends.

Yea, as long as you own the champion before the re-work is released. I think it's kind of dumb, because everyone that did not play her before, is just gonna buy her now for the skin... They should only give the skin to the people that owned her before the day the rework was released.Â
I'd like to upgrade... But with a PS4 right around the corner I'm just not sure it's worth it anymore.
This is the style of the game. There is no lock on, everything is fairly slow and you have stamina. The game is though to beginners, and takes times to get used to. You are slow, and they gang up on you so you gotta learn the timing of your current weapon set's attacks and learn to dodge. Sooner you fight monsters bigger than your screen. All about learning your weapon and learning the enemies' move sets. Really fun with friends and when you put in enough time to get good at it.
Hi,
I have the Storm 1, 2 and I borrowed Gen from a friend. I mainly get these for the versus mode. Is it worth the 70 bucks for just the versus mode? DId they actually make significant changes to the combat system/roster that make it worth buying when you have the older games?
Thanks
