I'm seriously considering a PS4. However, last console I had was PS1 and online gaming was non existent, so I just had a few questions about connectivity.

The location of the PS4 would be 3 rooms over and about 40 - 50 feet away from my router (which is 802.11 N). The signal is piss poor (3.03 down / 3.1 up from speed test).

1. Will games that require constant internet connection be playable? i.e., The Division, Final Fantasy 14?
2. If not, given how far the PS4 would be, would an AC router be able to provide a strong enough signal?

I should mention, I really don't want to move my router, but would look into access points or something like that if it's budget friendly and the AC router isn't sufficient alone.
