I agree, online gaming just provides soo much more play value to a game its rediculous. But I do think the gaming industry is heading in the right direction, there are more online games coming out now than ever before.
GPU is definitely more important for gaming, however if you don't have a decently good CPU, the it will bottleneck the GPU and you won't be able to get as much performance out of it as you'd like.
Yea I definitely think you have more than you need for this game. You may not be able to play it on the highest setting possible, but probably very close.
Unfortunately for my laptop I only have about a 60G at the moment, and with all the movies and games I want to keep on my computer, its just not enough space.
I would say getting a used console is a good idea. Try craigslist or ebay, but make sure the seller is verified, or else make sure the Wii actually works before you buy it. There are scammers on craigslist who have tried to sell broken consoles before.
Its just a fun thing to do. If you have nothing better to do such as go to a party or go hang out with friends, then video games are a great way to pass the time I think.
I also feel like the Xbox Kinect and Playstation Move are the next gen at the moment. But I really hope that there is something else in the works for 2 to 3 years from now.
I actually kind of like the anime. Final fantasy games have been my favorite over everything else for years now, and so maybe Im just sort of used to the anime in RPGs
