I am about to turn 17 in November. My parents have to get braces for my 13 year old brother who has really messed up teeth. ME, on the other hand, have pretty nice teeth, only thing I was not happy about is the fact that they aren't as white as I want them, but I can fix that myself. Just that they offered me braces too. I only have two crooked teeth, my right Central Incisor (which just seems a tad out of alignment) and left Lateral Incisor [this one is pretty bad] (Google a teeth diagram), and was never really bothered by them. But lately I have been thinking about it and now kind of do want them. But if I need them for, say 2 years, I'd be 19, and 3, I'd be 20. I probably will end up getting them, but what do you guys think?
EXTRA QUESTION: Anyone else noticed that almost, if not every person that gets braces ends up with really white teeth? Why?
