just to let you know, there are more than 60 stars. 60 is the minimum to beat the game :D
and yes, i am still playing it, i have 90 stars and strive to find all 120 before beating the game
Both games are great, and well worth owning. They each have their strengths and weaknesses.
Mario Kart Wii is very innovative with the wii wheel, but also offers other forms of use, such as the the gamecube controller. It has alright graphics, but its mainly a good, all-around, racing combat game. If you enjoyed the other mario karts in the series, you will love this one. You can also play online against others, giving it a fun twist if you are used to playing alone. However, the AI isn't the brightest in some CC's, and rediculously good in others. And when you play online, some players glitch/lag sometimes ruin the experience.
Super Mario Galaxy is one of the coolest games on the wii, being very innovative with the controls. The way that Mario can move around the planets and not worry about the gravity, it is amazing. Secrets in the game are even more difficult to find because they can hide under the planets that you wouldn't even think of exploring. This game makes you have to think outside-the-box. The only downside I have found with this game is that, if you get motion sickness, this is not the game for you. With all the camera angles, the running around planets, sometimes upsidedown on the screen, it can make a person who suffers from motion sickness lose whatever is in their stomach.
My suggestion, Super Mario Galaxy if you can only buy one, but Mario Kart Wii has more replay value.
