Reggie is always right. Us gamers ALWAYS want more....but within three months, I had Brawl, Kart, and Fit to keep my time occupied....and STILL continue to play those to this day. I am currently playing Brawl, Kart, Fit, Dr Mario, Galaxy (great replay value, especially if you haven't beaten it 100%), Lego Star Wars: Complete Saga, Lego Indiana Jones, and MLB Power Pros.....and those are just games on the Wii. I am about to buy Boom Blox (since the price finally came down), and am about to get Lego Batman.
To make a long story short....Nintendo is doing a great job with the games they are giving us, and a great job spreading out the classic titles. If we had a new Mario game right now, it would be mediocre at best because they would have rushed it to come out.
Yea, would I love to see a Star Fox game? a Kid Icirus game? a new Zelda? a new Mario adventure? SURE....BUT give them time. They haven't disappointed yet, and they won't in the future.
Oh God.....Tons of moments:
1). Playing Mario Kart: Double Dash during Junior year of college, fall semester finals. The 4 of us played against each other in multiple formats of races for hours and hours instead of studying (we all did fine on the finals). We continued to play those games and mastered every course over the course of the next year and a half.
2). Halo 2 and 3, 4v4 online with some buddies. Hilarious moments, game glitches, unbelievable assassinations, no-scopes, random granades....fun times, some frustrating times....some great moments.
3). Oblivion, exiting the sewers for the first time and just running around the HUGE world, astounded by the size of the world and the graphics it had. Over 100 hours invested in that game to get the full 1250 gamerscore, and I would do it again if i could experience the same experience (not knowing how to completely finish the game).
4). The first time I beat Super Mario 64 with 120 stars. Great game, tons of different levels, and great satisfaction to complete the game 100%.
5). Conker's Bad Fur Day during Freshman year of college. The main story was good and all, but the unique and awesome multiplayer made that game classic. The 4 of us would rush back from class to play each other and wouldn't stop for at least 4 hours (every time we played it). I just wish that Conker: Live and Reloaded would have kept the multiplayer the same so that game would have been classic too (with online play).
So many more to choose from.....
