Which game do you think had the most hype before release? I would have made a poll but it would have been unfair to cut some games, so for me it goes like this:

2. Final Fantasy XIII

3. God of War 3

4. Mass Effect 2

5. Metroid: Other M

6. Red Dead Redemption

7. Mario Galaxy 2

Out of these movies which would you prefer to watch even if you've seen them all a zillion times!

FFXIII or Battlefield - I think the others are just rentals or games you can wait on.

Yah, and I keep hearing how FFXIII is so linear, but honestly I never enjoy the mini-games much. Rather, what I enjoy the most is grinding and getting the best weapons in the game.

Bad Company 2 or God of War 3. Maybe GOW3 because of the issues the BC2 servers seem to have been having.

My console just went into repairs and I think I will get it back near the end of this month, so these are the main choices that I have been thinking about. Usually I buy games on the first day, but now that I will be getting it back after all these games are released, its hard for me to choose which one to purchase first.

FFXIII: I love final fantasies, so yes, I don't care what the reviews say, I will love it regardless. If I can enjoy FFXII, I most certainly can enjoy FFXIII

Heavy Rain: I love murder mysteries as well, big fan of movies in this genre such as Minority Report and Seven. This game just seems so fresh, but hey, I have only watched video!

God of War 3: I never played God of War 1 and 2, so surprisingly this game may not be as high as expected on my list of must-plays. Sure, the graphics are amazing, but its a trilogy and it would feel wrong to play GOW3 before I played through the other 2.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2: I absolutely love the multiplayer this game seems to offer. It reminds me of back in the day when Call of Duty cared more about you working as a team to win rather then being a one-man army (hate that)

Just Cause 2: just cause really....

So anyone mind helping me out and vouching for any one of these games?

My PS3's disc drive will not read anything anymore! Not any games, CD's, or Blurays. It happened when I was playing Fallout 3 and the game suddenly froze. I have had games freeze on me before, and usually all I do is just turn off the console with the touch power button. I did that, but this time unfortunately the PS3 was unable to turn itself off. I waited for an hour until finally I pulled to plug on it. Afterwards, everything worked fine on the PS3 except one big problem...it wouldn't read any discs anymore! So, does this sound to you more like the piece of hardware has gone and I need a new Bluray drive, or did the system just glitch out?

Any ideas or solutions on this are much appreciated, thanks!

I never used anything close to the software in modern games lol but I've made hangman in Java and holy **** that took a long ass time. Not so much to actually right the pages of code but to learn it all and make sure there are no loopholes. c.print this and that. Got to give the programers props cause I have no idea how they do it!

Anything that comes out of SE. Because they announce it with no intention of working on it for years. That's incredibly stupid.

I think they do that for their shareholders' sake, just to increase their stock but yeah its a stupid practice to have.
