THIS is my opinion: Videogames don't necessarily improve player's ABILITY to act out certain actions in the real world (marksmanship, driving ability, etc.). They instead cause players to ASSOCIATE real life situations with those of the videogames they play. This isn't to say they "think they're in a game." Nobody's that idiotic. This is to say that through the power of ASSOCIATION, (associations which are trained and REWARDED in videogames), we start to see the real world as a playground full of similar items and situations which have been imbued with value by the games we play (car=possible carjacking, gun=possible killing spree, plane=possible parachuting opportunity). I know I started seeing cars in my neighbourhood on a scale of "jack-ability" -- faster, nicer cars (a necessity in GTA) piqued my interest in the real world, and still do...I have, however, never hit a person, stolen a car, or had a real interest in firing a gun. I'm a peaceful, productive member of society.

Videogames are meant to be played by intelligent, thinking children and adults -- people who are as thoughtful and human as the engineers and educated designers who made those games in the first place.

Common! What silliness is this article?! Obviously the Galaxy screens look better than the Sunshine ones do. Every one of them, it's ridiculous to even call a discussion/comparison...I mean...common.....
