I think one thing people might of missed is the fact that this is probably the 123rd time Dewitt has attempted to save anna (or the 123rd universe the lucete has been in), the evidence is the chalkboard during the coin flip when Dewitt first arrived in columbia, it doesn't give you the option to call tails, and when the lucete walks away the female version says there is ALWAYS a next time, and as the male walks away it shows on his back that there has already been 110 heads while 13 including the one he just called
