@mkeezay22 I remember this research of gaming "numbing the pain". I think it was during surgeries or syringes or something. who ever said it only works in the Operating Rooms.
anyways hope you are doing great

@MJV1989 dude you are not alone on feeling weird around people thing. I used to have many friends. then I have self realizations that kinda butchered up my self esteem. add the fact that Im the kind of guy who likes to not be disturb and be quiet (you know, focus on the gaming, less interaction with people when playing or dont talk to me when I obviously dont want to). Im going into college this year and as much as I want to think I need to socialize and stuff, it just feels as you've said weird. I think some of us clearly has it.
long story short, you are not alone man

@dannyodwyer I remember that charity stream of yours. I donated some money there. and since you posted the link there, well you know what happens next.

hopefully I haven't passed a possible OCD, though I think it's starting to appear or how you would describe a beginning OCD.

this is really great and interesting stuff.
now before anyone here starts throwing trolls at each other, I know a lot of people who goes under depression, they might not admit it but you can see it if you've basically spend most of your school/work hours with them. and I'll admit, I think I'm having a little bit of depression myself (not the mood, but the actual illness). its only a matter of time before I see the symptoms. Im actually curious to see if I'd go OCD.
seeing all those long comments below, I can see it that is all about appreciation, debates, or depression stories, and I feel you guys. it isn't everyday that we see a video about depression.
anyways, good stuff @dannyodwyer I might watch depression quest random encounter again because of this. and hopefully some of us could cope

@Double_Wide okay before this even escalates to possibly something worse, lets just agree that gaming isn't THE CURE, but a coping mechanism, and that apparently, gaming as a coping mechanism wont work for every guy under depression.

@adamg78 dude, people with depression would overcome their depression in their own way like you. some may see gaming as a coping mechanism. apparetnly for you, you are coping it by being an active member of society/ going out there and working. gaming can help, but nobody here said that HEY ITS THE NEW WAY TO CURE DEPRESSION! like @H0rizon said, it doesn't necessarily work for everyone
