@Smokescreened84 would you like to talk about it? maybe think way way way back on how this happened? I am actually a feminist (even though I'm a guy and ready for the hate) and I want females to have a better role and society and hopefully on the internet, so in a way, I am seeing your point. there is this gaming culture of men being great character leads but I have to say that a Female Shepard from the ME Trilogy is just as great as a Male Shepard so you know, why not make the "Choose gender" option for every game.

@Smokescreened84 Im not sure if I'm not seeing the picture or I'm not getting the main point, but basically just dont play them. who wants to hear a fellow gamer died thanks to male video game leads. although I can't see "forcing me to play as a male" as forcing. I mean like you did, you just ignore those games.

@ellzhimself @mkeezay22 and apparently, more people who speak and think they know how depression works (and assume it works this way)

@meatz666 and then you start to think nobody cares, and the whole "get your mind to stop thinking you have depression" is null and void. some might argue "well you aren't talking with the wrong person" but when you are in depression, you don't care whether its the wrong or right one. what you do care is a guy to listen

would you consider yourself lucky if you/the doctor said/noticed you have depression? you know, like an early diagnosis, before it gets worse

@PatchMaster the bad thing about pessimism (as I see it) is that when you start, you barely to never stop being a pessimist.

this just dawned to me. do any of you think pessimism comes into play as a source of depression?
