Darksiders controller issue iam having the same problem, im sick of all these companies putting outproducts that are faulty, we are paying money so they can use us as testers,this is bull. they are so focused on piracy(excuse spelling) .

Forget about us who are paying taxes and going to a store to purchase a product, so you see a game in a box all packaged up,you pull out 60 almost 70 dollars to purchase a game,than when you get home it doesnt work or shall i say full of bugss.

why are these store putting faulty products on there shelves, because we sit here online trting to fix there problems, instead we should be writting to consumer affairs and protesting against these stores that put faulty products on there shelves.

If im paying close to 70 dollars for a game it better been tested and better work if not it should say what platform it doesnt work on. these companies should be paying us for beta tesing, or at least for our gas to take a trip to the store to buy a unfinished product! this has been going on for years, and we got to say to our selves this is enough my time is value and so is my money.

there should be no need for patches, why because they should hire beta testers on multiple plateforms and know these issues exsist. how could they not know the controller issue the camrea either says pointed up or donw wtf!

This is why there are so many pirates....who wants to pay for something that is broken, would you be looking on the net tryin to fix a broken HD flate screen tv or would you return it, and if it kept happening wouldnt you report to consumer affiars about a store selling you broken HD Tv's.

This is crazy people wake up start writting to officals, stop buy broken stuff,and push to pass laws to protect us,they should have laws that must be FDA approved get it! before passing junk on the shelves..and dont get mme started on windows 7 what a freakin broken product WOW.

In the end we are the ones to blame for not making a change!

Thats it im going back to the store and getting my money back this is a big BS Scam!!!

The developers need to combined that old driving force with the updated technology like red dead did i gotta say , red dead i think is pretty much the only game that has that old school game value and driving force to be a great game rather thant lets see how we can make or save money by exploiting excelent graphics instead of excelent gameplay value with amazing graphics.

GO ROACKSTAR!!! true game developers and i gotta say the makers of oblivion they know how to make quality games they also made jade empire i hear it was short but good overall theme and game play. most of these games like gears of war is an offspring of something thats already been done, the trick is they just change the content wow what a hiest..

I agree if 1srt person haas a good story i can deal, but with the games you mentions but it's Like Mr_Dream said,

all those third person games are too mainstream, except a few always grand thief except they took out some stuff to accommodate xbox low capablities, mercinairies, dragon age good rpg close to D & D Style, of coarse red dead redemption, demon souls was different, assins creed, all good games , splinter cell conviction was kool resident evil 5 was kool but it wasnt like the classic resident evil, which was much better i think. I played lost planet that was intresting, dont get me wrong there are some fun games but there arent really excelent games like they had in the past shindobi what.... the warriors..what and these games last it wasent a pay 50 - 70 dollars games that was over before you know it with no reply value....

I not claiming. Im saying! Lately most games thats been coming out are 1rst person, especially on ps3. I m discussing about quality of games use to be and benefits of 3rd person in big world games verses the lack of qaulity of these next gen which i do love but could be better. Dont entertain if you wont just thought if you said something supply some links that might be helpful

Technology is greatif they get the AI to act like it has real artifical intelligeance like in red dead, i havent seen technology like that eva with such vast amount of actors with that kind of intelligance. thats all the technology involed programing is programing and graphics in not technology its 3d modeling with more poly's back in the day we always could make hi end graphics its the systems that could not consoles are just catching up barely to pc, dont get me wrong I love graphics and i need good graphics in a next gen game but i also want value for my money add up renting something 60 and than returning it especially if you do it several times..

and about not having the time to read text i hated those games, NOT talking about old as.. ancient RPG's some are good but i agree i dont have the time to read text...

WTF I have seen FPS games modded into 3rd person and where better because sometimes you'll have guys all around you and cant see the environment right, why because 1rst person is like a horse with blinders on you can only see straight ahead as in 3rd person you can zoom real close like red dead shooting mode or you can run around and really appreciate the character you are playing..look at alien vs predator it was okay fun & cool but could you imagine seeing the actual alien as your climbing the walls, now that would be amazing!

Complaints of few 3rd person games are everywhere, but with the success of games like CoD and Halo on consoles, means other developers and more importantly, publishers, are going to want to cash in on such success.

hello, are you kidding me there are more complaints about FPS than they are 3rd person...look at COD suppose success they had to come out with patches to fix the damb game..too many guys runnig around trigger happy cod was not a sucess just alot of people buy it. if you want sucess as far as game play not sales if you read the post where talking about the quality of how they use to make games to these next gen games, look at arma now thats a real game cod is wacked compaire to arma II...ready for this one the old scholl soccom crushed COD, even the old scholl spinter cell crushes COD so whatever.
