bandwagons.. fanboys.. homers.. it's less important than it used to be .. simply because these guys are paid professionals that are traded all the time.  I cheer for my home town Falcons, but I easily become a fan of teams emerging with some star power.. it's exciting to watch.

It's not like the guys on your favorite team come from your area!  It's like Seinfield says.. we're all just fans of a uniform.  In your city the owner.. coaches.. players.. and sometimes the actual team is changed. ..and it's rare that a player will go to a team that offers less money.

I guess all I'm saying is..   you have to find players that you feel honestly want to be the best and win the big one.  It's very possible that some people aren't able to find that fire in the team that is closest to their place of residence.

[QUOTE="detroitpistons0"]well lets look at consistency. does ronde even almost pick off a pass every game? not that i knkow of. does tiki get a td almost every game? yes.2tontom

Barber TDs this year; one has two the other has none. Want to guess which is the running back and which is the corner? Please if you post something get your facts straight, don't just say one is better and spew nonsensical banter.(and this isn't just to you its to anybody) As for who is better at what they do? Ronde, he has been one of the best corners in the NFL for about 8 years now, and its MUCH harder to be a corner than running back.

This is quite simply the most ownage I've ever seen.

I'm going give Ronde a vote because he had some shutdown years in TB.  Tiki is getting tons of press because he's having a career year and is retiring at the peak of his game.  Let's face it offense is sexy.  It's hard to get noticed as a DB.. Great DB's are extremely rare and Ronde has been to 4 probowls and won the big game.  Every year there are tons RB's I would take over Tiki and he has less competition than Ronde.

2. I hate the fact that people assume, that just because you have a certain last name or that your Father or Brother plays in the NFL, that you are going to be a great Quarterback, Sure Peyton had a father that played, but he never did much in his career and Peyton has not proven, that he can win in the Playoffs and then people want to assume that his brother will be a great Quarterback, because he has the last name of Manning

When you look at some of the Best Quarterbacks in League history, they never had a Father or Brother that played Quarterback in the NFL, like Joe Montana, John Elway, Dan Marino, Troy Aikman, Steve Young and many others

Listen, use Griese or Simms as an example of this.. but never use the Mannings. citing that Payton isn't a great QB simply because he hasn't won the SB yet is just garbage. I know it's unreal.. I know it seems that there must be better QB's out there.. but these two guys are two of the best in the league.. and they prove it every week.

[QUOTE="bgres077"][QUOTE="xyoojguy"]I hate how an average team beat up a brunch of weak teams and people hype them like they are the second coming.. Not gonna name any team but you know who they are lolz..run2negabah

I don't know who you're talking about, care to drop a team.

The Jets? Looka t their schedule they actually have a chance of making the playoffs becuase its so easy. But they play a quality team for example the Jags they lose 41-0

I'm 100% sure he's talking about the bears being the second coming of 85'.

Yeah, I have to admit that Romo is more fun to watch, and it it hard to put a QB in when the ears have already been pinned back.

but 3 picks in one half?  Even if you didn't prepare.. that's not taking care of the ball.
