@lithus:It's because RTS doesn't translate well to Console. And don't bring up Halo Wars; that was built specifically for consoles and when the PC version of Halo Wars 2 came out it proved to be very simplistic compared to other RTS titles.

If I was in charge of the outcome I'd be like "Sure you can have the one million, if you pay back what you and your record label earned from sale through your song being popularised." I bet equate to more then one million dollars.

I say this because I'm one of those people who bought the song after hearing it in the trailer.

@gameplayuk: Xbox doesn't really need this, it's got Halo 5/master collection not to mention Halo 3/reach and 4. Last fps Halo for PC was halo 2 and that was a vista exclusive.

@craigtl: That's what fans do; it wasn't too long ago fans made mods and fan games out of the love of what they were honouring rather then for the sake of profit. Some still do but those patreon and begs for an incentive to continue their work have been creeping up more and more.

This is coming from someone who modded over a hundred chaos warbands into DOW2 (Badges and preset colour schemes) before it was supported by steam (back on GFWL) and never asked for a penny.

I see this as a waste of resources unless they redesign the dashboard. With the 360 they were always around so there was a reason to customise them but now its just a wall of ads and items I can't uninstall.
