Bought a pc two and a half years ago, for about $1100 (including monitor, speakers, ect..) bought 2 gigs of ram 2 years ago, for about $60, and a 4830 a few months ago for $110, and i can play crysis on high. I dont know why people are saying pc gaming is expensive, i built a whole new computer sense i didnt have a computer to being with, once thats established just upgrade alittle while you go. I spend everyday on my computer for hw, talking to friends, work, movies, and games, its the best investment ive got.

I really like how Clear skys had the weapon upgrade, that artifacts werent so easy to get (which reminds me of the book), but both were very good games, i couldnt decide between the two.
I thought Condemned was the scariest game, but that was only because the enemy would surprise you when you wouldnt expect it, but then i played the penumbra series, and that stands as the scariest games in my opinion.
Soo should i wait for the new ati cards or get another 4870's 1gb

I have a cable that'll connect to the tv and it works on my current desktop, though I have a different setup, and i get sound through the tv with the media center, though no video. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Im also using xp tiny on the media center, and xp on my own desktop, so im thinking it might be the OS.
Theres this motherboard and cpu i want to get to build a media center, but the FSB is different so i would like to know if it'll still work. Heres the components
