@wemmick: Every web page is still blasting videos (THE SAME VIDEO) at a ridiculously high volume every time I click into a new web page. This really is so fucking stupid and obnoxious. I am just going to stop coming to this website altogether, so great job. Your amazingly smart marketing department is driving your customers away.

Every time I click on a link your stupid videoplayer BLASTS the SAME STUPID AD and it does it EVERY SINGLE TIME I CLICK ON a LINK. And the sounds is always at MAXIMUM VOLUME and the ad running is set to be MUCH MUCH LOUDER than the actual video content that is played after, so after turning the sound down to 5% to avoid shattering all the windows in my house, I have to turn it back up to hear the actual content you've produced. God forbid my volume on my PC is up over half when your lousy goddam video player decides to blast another (EXACT SAME AS THE LAST FOUR HUNDRED) ad at me and practically kill me it's so loud.

Seriously, what the hell is this a porn or gambling site? Do you people not know how to run a proper, legitimate website? I actually feel embarrassment for you that you feel you have to do this amateurish crap. Can you PLEASE tone it the hell down or do I just have to stop coming here and go to one of your ten thousand competitors?

@edgework: 99.9% of the websites I go to do not present unsolicited streaming ads at me ever. The only ones that do are the shitty sponsored content links that sent me to awful Weird Tip websites that exist solely to regurgitate shitty streaming ads at me. I'm not 100% sure I would publicly state on a messageboard run by the company I work for that I am totally unable to do what basically all other legitimate websites do on a nearly constant basis, but I respect your chutzpah.

@jurk182: I'm sorry, I know it's frustrating and with the help of the community who happen to be finding them we can cut them out. But we can't just strip out all video ads.

I'm not a web developer or anything but I am pretty sure that you can put in code that would disable the auto playing of streaming video ads.

@DigitalDame: I get dozens of streaming video ads from this website. I'm not going to post a screenshot every time I get one. I have a full time job. Why can't you just disallow them?

No. Canada. Why? Did you make some weird deal with the government in the UK and Canada to overwhelm their citizens with streaming ads for yeast infection pills?

So over the last couple of months i have just gotten more and more streaming ads blasting at me and I usually have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to turn them off. Is this just a permanent new feature of this website? Because it is already borderline.

These streaming video ads are back blasting at me. I'm not sure why you would want to blast sophia vergara jabbering in spanglish about "haid and shawlders" shampoo and every other obnoxious streaming ad on your main page. I won't be be returning until they are gone though.

They seem to have stopped. I guess google ads were slipping them passed. I don't remember what they were for because I immediately close any browser window blazing videos at me that I didn't ask for.

I don't want to use adblock or a similar software because I believe websites deserve ad revenue for their work, but I will not be coming back here if I see any more video ads starting up without me clicking on them.

Posting this in the bug forum because it must be some kind of mistake. No site that isn't a piracy/porn site or some kind of suggested links site blares video ads at you without any kind of warning. You should look into this obvious error before people start to think you are a bunch lowbrow hacks more interested in creating advertising revenue than any kind of meaningful content that would make people want to keep coming to this website.
