I the long ago days, there were many games that actively infused humor and silliness into there gameplay. Ones that would make you laugh from start to finish and where every line was aimed at snark. Off the top of my head I think of Monkey Island, Under a Killing Moon (at the rest of Tex Murphy PI), Space Quest, SAM and Max, Discworld noir,Leasure suit Larry, King's Quest,and Simon the sorcerer
Now it seems that much like thegood adventuregames, the attempt to be funnyin PC games has really disappeared. Ohmany games will have a comedic moment or two, or pass a one liner, but few appear to try to entertain as a pure comedy. So my ask to you is that you proove me wrong and tell me your favoriate comedic PC game released in the last 5 years. i'm going to call Bard's Tail.
Note to truely qualify the games must have a constrant streme of slapstick or witty dialog and/or comments throughout. If you have a silly theme, but the game play is basically a tile game or matching games it doesn't count. (wll unless there is a voice over making fun of the player or their skills throughout play).
bonus points if the game you name is on steam, GOG, onlive, or simular. Even more bonus points if it is one I haven't played, and ultimate bonus points if it is curently avilable for $10.
