hd gaming has not taken off yet... anecdotal evidence total, my friends mentioned gta4 at the pub last week but only a handful of people i know have bothered purchasing a ps3 or 360 and none for gta4 ... most of the casuals are still getting their kicks out of last gen games.... hd tooooooo pricey still

OK I've been looking around based on your suggestions and what sounds fun to me and I've come up with the following;

1. Monopoly
2. Super Baseball Simulator 1.000
3. Super Mario World/RPG
4. NBA Jam
5. Tecmo Super Bowl
6. Worms
7. Chrono Trigger
8. Killer Instinct

Are these all good? I know there are tons of half-baked SNES games but also many gems.

chrono trigger should be 1st if you like japanese rpg's... super mario world is a given... nba jam is good if u like arcade sports games, lots of fun two players... worms is great 2 players as well, 1 player great too... killer instinct is a competent fighter, i loved the arcade version to bits but its just ok on the snes

super baseball simulator sounds like a cut rate hackers game which probably isnt worth the plastic it comes in and monopoly is better in real life... tecmo super bowl i cant comment on lol

ummm ff3 is not cheap..... but you read my mind with super ghouls n ghosts lol ive been considering digging up my snes and attempting to finish it finally... i never could beat the second end boss ... hard as nails

lol with the wii's graphical horsepower developers decide its better for the users to usetheir imagination... well its a newip sooooooooo ill be taking note of its development... i guess im not alone in that either

- Square-Enix is back Super Mario RPG by making a sequel on the DS. The sequel would include more characters from the Final Fantasy universe.

- Ogre Battle resurrected? And to the Wii no less?With Yasumi Matsuno being involved?

- Camelot is making a new Golden Sun on the Wii.
Fighting would be mostly Nunchuck focused.

lol either way this is a megaton lol the only dragonquest games i have played have been in japanese and no not for long because i cant read japanese ... anyway i guess it would be an understatment to say japan is rather happy with the ds right now

yeah definatly goldneye, because EA screwed it all up,. for real, the only one i like that EA did was "everything or nothing."

obviously goldeneye... but i think an honourable mention must go to everything or nothing as well... i brought it for 25 dollars and i got alot of fun out of it

crashed my gamecube 3 times but i actually feel like replaying it... not something that i feel like doing much these days
