The language is too much for a normal human, I think it is cortana, or a forerunner log of what went on, but I doubt it, forerunners probably didnt speak perfect english in a time before the word pyhrric, so it has to be within the last 3 or 4 thousand years and we know that the forerunners died out eons ago, I forgot the number of years guilty spark said, but it was in the thousands.

And I have a feeling that MC will die stopping the covenant and flood in 1 fell swoop probably lowering the power of halo enough not to hit earth somehow. He is too invincible not to die, he as never come close to death in the games and it would be a fitting end to the last spartan (well... technically not considering the secret mission that dr. Halsley took Kelly on)

1) I'm glad someone agrees with me that it might be Cortana.

2) He's been close to death a couple times, he just always pulled himself out. For example, on Delta Halo, after Chief kills Regret, they bomb the place. He would've died if Gravemind hadn't of saved him.

3) It's mantle.

Parents that get into the biggest uproar about it are the ones who don't pay attention to the ratings, or don't understand them, and then find out that this game their kid whined about for 20 hours straight and got them without thinking to shut said kid up, then find out that it's violent or something, but since the kid is spoiled already he won't give up the game without a fight so he gets "mean" and whines for another 20 hours and the parents get annoyed about it and turn to the government so they don't have to deal with it again.

Or something like that.

Yes, I'm sure you all know- Halo 3 is coming out September 25th. And it's goona own.

But it's not all.

Foo Fighters is coming out with a new CD september 25th, and the TV show House (one of my personal faves) is starting it's new season on that day.

Is it coincidence, or do the big honchos plan it all out in advance? Watch House while you play Halo 3 and listen to Foo Fighters!

So yea, anything else happeneing on that day worthy of mention?

Xplay fails on about 1/2 of it's reviews. Everything except Game of the Year nominees get 2 or 3. That, and if things don't explode, then they give it a lower score. They need a new scoring system, and new scorers.

As for the results themselves, Gears is overrated. Yes, it's an AMAZING game, but it's not the best thing since sliced cheese, if you get me.

And something I never really understood; why do all these "of the year" programs have such early cut off dates? The best games usually come out at the end of the year (this year isdefinitely no exception-SSBB, H3, Mario Galaxy, and others). So why cut the games off in late August early November?

Now, as much as I would love to, I'm not gonna read 22 pages of this. Because of that, I'm not sure anyone has said or not said this before.

What if the D-Com is Cortana? Seeing as she won't die when the Halos activate, it would make sense. And perhaps the second log is from Graveborn (or whatever his name is-the big guy with the teleporter control) or a log from the Forerunner that activated Halo previously, or one that escaped to a shield world, like Onyx? Just a shot in the dark.

Mass Effect flopping? That's like saying "Halo 3 isn't going to sell well."

As for Bioshock, it's probably going to be good, but I can't say I'm going to run out and buy it on it's release date. I just don't feel it.
