@johnyogi i didnt get that impression at all. maybe a few people were complaining about not seeing the hardware, but i got the impression most people were happy to see a game driven reveal.
@john82wa @sebman2112 @Grenadeh i really dont see how that would be possible. bioshock infinite for example takes up 16gbs in my steam folder on pc and thats not even a next gen game. my guess will be anywhere from 10gb - 25gb for most AAA games. also, don't forget about game saves, those are going to take up space too. theres also movies, tv, music, the OS,....that's going to start adding up real quick.
@Grenadeh @krystyla @Percuvius3 but if this gen of consoles is going to be around for another 7 years, being able to upgrade your internal hdd would be a very nice feature.
@vajjala1986 how am i crazy? replacing the hdd if it crashes isnt the issue. the issue is capacity and speed. very large game installs (which are mandatory) combined with any media you may want to keep on your xbox and 500gb is going to run out real quick. it's not a huge deal breaker or anything like some are making it out to be; external hdd's arent very expensive.
maybe i'm in the minority but i like that i could use the xbox one/kinect as a media center/reciever/universal remote. i even got really excited at the thought of replacing comcast's shitty guide menu with xbox's. depending on the price, i would seriously consider buying it just for that.
the hdd though..... if you're going to make it mandatory to install all games in order to play them, we should be able to upgrade the hdd internally on our own.
