@Wiro_: I'm just here to report on the underlying technology. If you read the Bitcoin white paper, it makes no mention of the technology being designed for nefarious purposes. I'm not saying it couldn't be used for nefarious purposes (and am certainly not encouraging anyone to use it as such), but one could argue the same for the Internet (and people did at its inception). There are many legal use-cases for blockchain technologies. As a technical side note, the Bitcoin platform is only semi anonymous as cryptocurrency wallets are somewhat tantamount to IP addresses.

@g4m1ngon: I assure you that gaming coverage isn't going anywhere! As the technology editor, however, a part of my job entails covering interesting, emerging technologies. Since cryptocurrency is tied so closely to gaming hardware, it makes sense to do an article explaining what all the Bitcoin hubbub is about.

@hughesyboozy: In today's GPU market, they're cheaper than equivalent builds you can put together yourself.

@jako998: There will always be new graphics card. Can't sit and wait forever. 10 series GPUs was an excellent time to jump in.

@jako998: Gaming laptops really got a significant boost in performance when the 10 series GPUs came out.

@maitkarro: Having tried an early prototype of the Pimax 8K, I appreciated the higher res and FOV, but the LCD screen wasn't ideal.
