To those of you who are blaming and shaming Disney - it's not their fault. It was the only choice Disney could have done. You guys instead should blame the right-wing conservatives and this dose of revenge they had to take down James Gunn.

Seriously, after headline news popped up showing Tweets from Gunn how he likes little boys to touch his "silly places", among many other vulgar and morally questionable things he's said. what the hell was Disney supposed to do? If they had kept him despite such revelations, that would have brought far more controversy to Disney.

As it turns out, Disney did the only one thing it could have done, and that was getting rid of him. It's unfortunate it had to be a guy that directed the beloved Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but sometimes reality hurts.

I know it's so popular to hate on Disney but you guys gotta see the bigger picture that the real culprit behind this firing was political motivation and it was not within Disney's control.

This is really just your classic case of "be careful with what you post online, you never know when it may come back to haunt you." I'm pretty sure most of us have heard this advice before, and with James Gunn it has become his reality.

@MadCat221: The Underminer is just going to be a prologue villain and nothing more, the same way Bomb Voyage was the prologue villain in the first movie. The main villain in Incredibles 2 is going to go by the name of "Screen Slaver".

@Seymour47: Just look at Thanos's expression, he wasn't taking Captain seriously, he was toying around with his strength. Look at Captain's expression and he is holding against Thanos for dear life. Thanos also has a gigantic ego so he will spend a lot of time messing with the characters he finds petty in his eyes than singlehandedly causing annihilation.

@HarlemVIP: Lol, I'm sure people will be laughing at this conversation. I just did.

And speaking of being dense, your denseness began the moment you responded back to me assuming I thought you meant only one trailer, when in fact I specifically referred to a "series of 2 to 3 minute long trailers", which is a plural term insinuating my awareness that you clearly meant more than one trailer.

You pretty much self-owned yourself. The joke's on you.

@HarlemVIP: The fact you bring up Donald Trump and politics in a discussion that has absolutely nothing to do with that sector, shows you're very weak at posing a constructive argument.

What next? You're better off showing me the 20-30 trailers for any Marvel movie that don't even exist.

@HarlemVIP: Think before you speak, because there has NEVER been 20 to 30 trailers for any Marvel movie. Just stop while you're ahead of your own zeal.

@unfriendlytoast: The MCU isn't quite lazy when it's pulling something off that hasn't been done in movie history to this caliber and yet still pulling it off.

Saying it's making money is a dumb excuse when virtually every movie in existence wants to make money, even from your beloved auteurs - and if it's not them it's the studios putting them out.

So instead of worrying about a movie trying to make money, pay closer attention to whether or not that said film is worth your money.

Going off your other response to my other comment, it sounds like the MCU is just not worth your money, but that's not to say it's not worth it to others. To each their own.

@unfriendlytoast: "a Reboot of a show, movie, or book from my childhood filled with big names, big battle sequences."

Do you seriously think it's the MCU's fault for the laziness of other studios? You really need to reevaluate what you're saying here.

@unfriendlytoast: It's most likely because you never followed the premise of the series to begin with. You haven't been following these "unnamed" characters and the journey they each individually go on, and the interactions they share with one another. It sounds more like you've seen only a select few of the movies than actually delving into the bigger picture, so you fail to see the allure, not because the movies are bad but because of your own ignorance towards what's going on.

I really can't blame you, though, if you choose to settle with what you choose to believe, because anyone that's fallen far behind the MCU lore would be asking too much for them to catch up because it is indeed an investment.

You can trash-talk a large series all you want because of your own lack of exposure to them, but at the end of the day you'll never hear someone that's actually been following all or at least most of the movies say that they're tired of them as much as they're continually getting more excited for the ultimate showdown.
