@shravan_perne : Okay, then why don't the developers do it ? Well... that's cause of the complexities and intricacies associated with the technology of the PS3. And many devs have openly admitted it's tough to program for the PS3. So basically, half of it is SONY's fault for designing a hardware so complex and difficult. Thanks to their luck, SONY has good exclusives which saves face.
Sorry to say this... but unless SONY decide to have some substantial muscle in their hardware, I will NOT buy anything from them any more. That's one North American customer GONE. I say this with a lot of frustration and anger because of how POORLY the PS3 runs multi-platform games at present; Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, Skyrim etc.. The XBOX 360 is easily the best console in that area. This news has gotten me even less excited about the whole thing. I am somebody who doesn't care about the community in terms of sharing and socializing virtually etc. So this news makes me sad. I still hope the PS4 will feature a powerful hardware that can run multi-platform titles with ease.
This video right here is the reason why the PS3 has the BEST exclusives !!! I am glad I own the PS3 and can't wait to experience this new masterpiece from Naughty Dog. I played all the Uncharted games and they were some of the best games I ever played on any platform.
@Coren_Larken I would probably do the same. I waited 3 years apart to buy both my 360 and PS3. This time I might pick them both during the same year. We shall see.
I concur with a lot of comments here. How about HL3 dear Valve ??? You can begin the new game from where HL2: EP 2 left off. We need a new and revitalized Dr. Freeman NOW !!! HLF3 would be perfect for today's superior PC hardware. DX11 and 1080p... gosh I am dreaming already.
@SibirskiyTigr Yes.. the PS3's hardware is really poor. Most multi platform games struggle to even make it to decent fps on the PS3. The 360 is simply the better system when it comes to non-exclusives.
