Hey guys, i'm 16 years old at the moment and currently living in the UK. In 2 years time - where i'll be 18 - i could be moving to the USA for a scholarship in basketball. I know its far away, but its a definite possibility, so I may as well ask now.

Now I know that a social life doesnt come first, clearly, but as the law in america to go clubs, bars is 21 years of age, is there anything else to do? I mean, i wont know anyone out there, and ill be studying at the same time to, but I dont think it would be right to not have a social life...right? So if anyone else has a friend or has experienced the same thing, it would be a massive, massive help. I'm going out in a sec so I wont be here for a while, but I look forward to (hopefully) your replies,

I'm in exactly the same boat as the TC. I feel that games this gen have no 'soul'. I used to be almost addicted to games, you know, when you buy a game and you just cant put it down. I thought it was because of my age that I could no longer get the same feeling when playing games.

That was my opinion until recently. I hooked up my PS2 and rececently bought Kingdom Hearts on the PS2 and I literally could not stop playing it. It was great because I felt like a kid again, playing the game first thing in the morning, staying up late. The irony is that the game includes characters from Disney too.

Just thought i'd share that with you all. This gen, there arent any games that make me feel that way and Kingdom Hearts proved to me its nothing to do with age. The only one that comes close in my opinion, is Mass Effect. I'm trying to think of another way to put it. Games this gen seem or feel too close to reality that they almost lose their purpose (GTA 4 is a good example). Another way to put it is they feel like a simulator, whereas last gen felt like the arcade.

Definitely agree with the TC. Its the best because its the most balance, in terms of intensity and amount players. I hated R2 60 man multiplayer, because it was too easy and way too chaotic. Killzone 2 was good though, but Halo 3 beats them all. Oddly, the first multiplayer player experience of Halo 3 i had which was on sandtrap, was also the best gaming experience i'd ever had, and have never experienced another match like it since.
