different people working on different games. they're going to have differences in textures and style. and possibly the texture file sizes in smash bros might be bigger since fighting games tend to have more detail...adventure games have much more going on at any moment.

well i'd say your friend sounds like a 10 year old. if he can't just be mature enough to not bash the wii...i stood in line through the night it was released and i'd say about 95% of the people were over 20. and they were buying it for themselves. you're more mature since you don't have to seek approval from your friends for everything you do. if you think it's fun then get it. i would eventually get a ps3 or 360 except i have no confidence in M$ or sony's ability to produce a console that won't break 2 years after i buy it. i've never had problems with nintendo...

they've done that with the NES where developers made games for it without their approval but they've probably made laws against that now.. but if nintendo lets them make it i'd say that that's pretty much a stamp of approval from them no matter what else they do. anyway, i don't even care cause i have no interest in this game. i think take-two is just doing all this controversial stuff on purpose for publicity. how much do you think the sales of the original GTA san andreas went up after people heard about the hot coffee thing? they probably knew this would happen. they're just counting on this to boost sales.

Yesterday I had a Wii party with a few friends because I needed to sell my Wii (just temporary, needed some cash) and a couple of them were interested in buying it and hadn't played with one before. So we got all of the controllers connected and changed the sensitivity settings for the seonsor bar and popped in WiiSports.

Then I received an error that I hadn't seen before saying that I needed to remove the disk, restart the Wii and then put the disk back into the drive as an error had occured.

I tried this and again, received the same message. I then tried Wii Play and Madden, and kept getting the same error. At this point I was getting extremely frustrated but was trying to hide it as here I was trying to sell my Wii to these guys, and it wouldn't work. Finally I jokingly unhooked everything from the back, parted the disc drive slot open with a plastic fork, and blew inside saying "... it always worked for my NES".

Lo-and-behold, it worked! I didn't receive the error again and ended up selling it that night to one of my friends.

Some things at Nintendo never change.
