Well, I'm not going to talk about games or features, but one large benefit is that you can get a used 360 for around 90$ + shipping... the cheapest used 360 I can find is around 220$(included shipping) which is a lot of cash.
I rarely buy new consoles... and no I don't care if I am supporting the company, lawl.

So the benefit is buying it cheaper at a used price? I thought you weren't supposed to buy used Xbox 360s due to a manufacturing defect on earlier models?
I don't care... I've fixed numerous xbox 360s, and yes I've bought 360s on ebay(I've had 4 at one point, for a computer science project... (cannot use new ones for reasons I am not goign to go into at gamespot )) and some of them did RROD. I can fix that though pretty easily, just get an x clamp kit, all you do is pop it open, and then hit off the heatsinks, and take off the x clamp. Then apply some good thermal paste, and attach the bolts and washers of the clamp kit. Then bake the whole thing by turning the 360 and just let the fan on the cpu and not the gpu and after like 15 minutes, the gpu will have resoldered itself. Then attach everything back together, and wallah, working 360 forever.or you could just buy a ps3....
