I have played a ps3, I have played an X360, I have seen both and compared the graphics, price, advantages and disadvantages. I ended up getting the ps3 because at the end of the day I thought it was a better buy. I think people should stop listening to all the hype and try the consoles out for themselves. I like both consoles, I think that X360 has (for now) a better game lineup than PS3. But with all the 3rd party game manufacturers crossing the lines, I do not foresee all the X360 titles staying on X360 only. I hear a lot about the blue ray and cell of PS3 versus the price and online capability for X360 (these are the only REAL gripes I have seen). As far as the blue ray and price, Sony has opted to include the HD player in the console package, this I thought was actually a cheaper way to go when you factor in the price of buying the separate HD player for X360 and hookups (personally I already see blue ray as the next form of media for movies). When you compare apples to apples with HD players connected to both units, they are the same price (actually X360 is a little more). As far as the online advantages that X360 has (and from what I have seen they are advantages), you are paying for them. If Microsoft wants to really put their advantage in good light, I think they should provide online service for free. On the other hand, I have seen some changes in the ps3 online stuff and it may end up just as good as the X360 online. These are the reasons I bought the ps3, I take all the criticism for what I think it really is, x360 owners trying to justify their purchase. Hey I don't blame you, I would too if I jumped the gun and bought a X360. Yes I do think that Europe and Australia has legitimate gripes, and I think it will leave a bad taste for a lot of gamers
