Yeah I find it to be really hard. I'm level 6 and I'm still struggling on the early levels.

I think it's because they want you too explore more on the world, work as a team to win battles and not just fly though the story so you have to do side quests to level up

Games like Skyrim and fallout I would because of how much those games rely on speech. You can really miss out on an important place or names of people and I find reading the text helps remember.

But with games like CoD and Bioshock the subtitles just gets in the way of the amazing cinematic story.
