Same here. I start up the Xbox and it tries to load my profile. When it fails at doing so, it loads the dash as if I were signed into a local (non-LIVE) account on the console. I can sign into LIVE (slowly) but the dashboard fails to load. Something is definitely wrong here. I called Xbox support and they confirmed that there were problems right now. "Max" told me that I should wait an hour or so before trying to get on again. This was about 10-15 minutes ago.

I really just want to play CoD and Lego Star Wars again!

True, I love warhawk and R&C as well, but throw in the good multiplats right now..those alone with a few exclusives are holding over for MGS4 and such. It's a great system, it's just not in it's prime yet.

I'd agree with that as well. It seems like when people say that the Playstation 3 is a great system, they simply mean that it has the potential to be a great system. Don't get me wrong- I'd love to see the PS3 perform well in terms of sales and critical success. I wouldn't say the console is at that point now, but it's only been a year, and they have time.
