It wouldn't be a rumour if it was true.

It is likely, though.

Regardless, the DVI to HDMI adapter would result in a severe loss in image quality. I haven't done this with a BluRay drive, but I tried to hook up my computer to my TV in a similar manner and it looked like ass.Generic_Dude

No it wouldnt. HDMI and DVI are the same cable. except HDMI is made smaller and has audio.
They are both digital video connections.

[QUOTE="OPRFWrestler112"]Lemme put it this way: I have a C: Drive, and its partition, F: drive. I want to make F: drive the only partition, having control over all 160gb of HDD space. If I format the C: Drive, will the emptry space be added to the F: drive?Gog

No you have to remove both partitions to create a new one that spans the entire disk.

Wrong, its called partition magic download it, its a great tool

I honestly feel really sorry for him :(. He made a mistake, and he served his time. Just leave him alone and let him live his life. A sexual offender is a human being just like you and me, and we all make mistakes. The internet is a place to go where everyone is allowed, and that shouldn't change just because of something stupid he did. Most sex offenders have a mental illness, and need to be treated. What you are doing is basically telling him he is not wanted because he isn't part of the"norm". You should be ashamed for posting a picture of him and insulting him and telling him he doesn't belong on the internet just because he made a mistake. What he did was wrong, but what you ,OP, are doing is just as bad.

There is a great song by Montgomery Gentry called "Some People Change". Maybe you should listen to it. He made a mistake, but he should be given a second chance. I should wrap this up because my eyes are starting to tear up due to the anger and sadness that I feel knowing there are people in this world like you who sabotage people's names and make them feel like an outsider on the WWW.

I already basically committed account suicide with this account in the last thread I posted in and was never going to use this profile, and these forums again, but I happened to visit this board and saw this depressing thread and decided I just had to post this message to get this off my chest. I am in no way saying what he did was right. It was disgusting, and disturbing, but hopefully he learned his lesson and is now trying to improve his life.

All I want is everybody in this world to become more understanding and forgive a lot more. If someone has a problem, help them out instead of making fun of them.

My rant is over. I'm out.

[QUOTE="Netherscourge"]

PS3 DVD Speed = 12X for Single Layer DVD's (10.57MB/s average, depending on CAV) and 8X for Double Layer DVDs (7.93MB/s average, dependning on CAV)

PS3 Blu-Ray Speed = 2X for standard Blu-Ray discs (9MB/s possible; averages not certain[several Blu-Ray layer formats])

PS3 HDD Speed = 7200 RPM (37MB/s average)

If you ask me, a developer would RATHER work with the 37MB/s rate then a 10.57MB/s rate.

Hard Drives are the new memory cards - they fill up fast and you will have to buy more then one...

beast667

thing is, they are a lot more expensive than memory cards.

And the faster read speed of PS3 HDD didnt seem to help DMC4, i still got 4 and 5 second load times.

If you think about, they arnt really, when i used to own a ps2, before xbox came out, an 8mb memory card would cost me NZ$80-NZ$100.
Now compared to what i can get HDD's for; does the ps3 yuse 2.5" or 3.5"?

Well any way

60GB 2.5" NZ$75.94
120GB 2.5" NZ$93.05

160gb 3.5" NZ$75.14
200GB 3.5" NZ$89.53

1TB 3.5" NZ$370.06
--

Now if you ask me, thats very, very cheap compared to a memory card.
