@fivoroth: Steam may be DRM in one form or another, but your other arguments are pretty unfounded. I can't remember the last time steam crashed on me and it doesn't use a significant amount of ram. Yes, steam has it's faults, but it gives PC players a fairly central place to store and organize their games, as well as offering good sales frequently. And as far as DRM goes, it allows you to play in offline mode and is less intrusive than a lot of the other options out there.
