I'm not sure what you're trying to say here, I do own them all and I've played about 10 hours of MGSV, I also never talked about the gameplay because it wasn't my gripe...

When it comes to Driveclub, you have no idea what you're talking about, this game is smoke and mirrors pulled off to the 9th degree. The expansive environments in Driveclub which are away from the direct track are made up of very, very simple geometry and textures akin to Tribes 2 coupled with dense two dimensional foliage, there's nothing complex about any of it. The reality is those parts of the game environment were created in such a way that they look great from far distances but up close look like something from 2001. They pulled it off well, it's convincing when you're flying around a track at 150 MPH, but it's nothing special and I suggest you look into it better.

For those parts of the map the LoD is constant and there are no mipmap shifts, this is because you never go to those places so the detail never needs to change to something higher quality as you approach it. Driveclub is a good looking game when not investigated, when you accept it at face value it looks quite impressive, however when you actually look at what is all around you the illusion crumbles and you realize most of the stuff you're seeing is a facade.

No, you didn't said anything about MGS V gameplay. Just no! Here :

Foliage is even worse in FH2, man. Even if you can reach that bush in a distance. Anyway, as i sad, some areas in DC are huge and also draw distance is huge. Did you know that when you see some stuff in distance from start and when you arrived close enough ( let's say near finish line ), those stuff are not simple geometry. Enter the photomode and zoom that object.

And graphics difference between those 2 games are quite big, open world or not. And you don't want to see it.

I'm sure you're own a every single game. Same for MGS V in other QB thread. You talked about MGS V gameplay, but you didn't played. Man, you're busted.

Anyway, as i sad, some areas in DC are huge and also draw distance is huge. Did you know that when you see some stuff in distance from start and when you arrived close enough ( let's say near finish line ), those stuff are not simple geometry. Some India or Japan tracks for example.

Dude, just shut up. Doesn't mean if some game is open world, that game is doing more technical stuff than "closed" game. That's a poor lem excuse. Keep going, NyaDC! Keep going!

This is the same line of logic people try to use against games like Forza Motorsport and Horizon in comparison to Driveclub, everything needs to be kept in context.

  • Driveclub: 30 FPS closed circuit racer
  • Forza Motorsport 6: 60 FPS closed Circuit racer
  • Forza Horizon 2: 30 FPS open world racer

It's all about development choices and operating context.

And Driveclub is doing damn more technical stuff than Forza Horizon 2 even if it is a closed circuit racer. Btw. some areas in Driveclub are really big. Differences are huge in terms of graphics. Want some gifs? I'm pretty sure your lovely Xbone will be embarrassed, NyaDC.

You trying to equalize PS4 and Xbone in terms of power. Not gonna happen, NyaDC. Damn lems here. They trying to spin everything when their lovely Xbone is butchered worldwide in terms of sales. Even with alt account like you. You're disgrace, man. On par with MisterXmedia.

Explanations do not equate to excuses, I said new SDK's and DirectX 12 would change resource parsing and CPU/GPU management and make hitting 1080p more achievable.

P.S. Rachet & Clank is running on the same engine Sunset Overdrive uses.

Your explanation = excuse

I'm sure it will.

P.S. But Ratchet looks way better than Sunset.

This is a prime example of not understanding computer hardware, what a surprise coming from a member of the console community, that's not how it works. The fact of the matter is the hardware in the Xbox One is just as capable in terms of rendering techniques as the PlayStation 4 or even the PC, it's derivative, that's just a fact. Now, it may have a weaker GPU in terms of overall compute, but that doesn't mean it couldn't render those games with the exact graphical fidelity. A resolution drop would have to no doubt be done, 900p or the likes, but don't fool yourself into thinking the PlayStation 4 is some special flower, it's simply a more powerful version of what is essentially the same hardware package, that's it.

Heh, what an excuse, NYaDC. What else to expect from lem. LOL! Like the member said and it's true. Sadly for your lovely Xbone. R.I.P. Maybe in next-gen. Till then....eat your Xbone piece of crap. Oh, you also said that DX12 will push Xbone games to 1080p ( when you were NYaDC ). LOL! But hey, just check the Mirror's Edge.

Uncharted 4 and Ratchet and Clank obliterate anything on Xbone visually. Xbone is not capable of producing games that look that good.

And no, cutscenes clearly look better, but that's expected from all games, atleast third person ones.

One game has clearly the same cut-scene and gameplay model. Guess which one? Yes, U4 gameplay model is on par with cut-scene model. Some textures are better rounded ( especially around eyes, ears ). But that's about it.

lol photomode.

nah, that looks to be a straight gameplay shot.

I see a camera icon that suggest, it's a photomode. Naught Duds already confirmed the presence of photo mode in UC4 and I don't trust cows at all to be posting gameplay shots.

It's a gameplay shot. Photomode automatically add sharpening filter for some reason. You don't have sharpening filter during gameplay. Maybe there will be some option to turn it off via patch,

Unbelievable how lems can be so dumb. That's an icon when you take a screenshot during gameplay or Photomode ( it's an indication that screenshot is taken and also you can disable that icon ). When you press several times "share" button, it's possible to take that icon too.

Bloodborne>>>Dark Souls 3 IMO!

Better weapons. Each weapon in Bloodborne is unique! Gameplay is so MUCH better in Bloodborne, or better to say - combat. Love the short-long weapon combination during fight + combine it with some firearms.

Atmosphere is also so MUCH better. Love the gothic-horror atmosphere. Also world is somehow better connected. Graphics are better too IMO. Textures are more detailed, enemies are better designed.

Dark Souls 3 has better online, that's for sure. And also, so much about weapon and armor variety ( well, that's a + for someone ) when i used just fu**** 3 weapons during whole game and 2 armors. Axe from the beginning, Great Axe and Arbalest bolt

And also,. Bloodborne is more badass than DkS3 ( love when you go straight to the enemy and change the weapon ) :
