Yeah they're very close to creating true sentience in computers. Kinda creepy to think about, could you imagine if a sentient software program spread throughout the internet (which is everywhere by now) and took control of all the computer systems, weapon systems, bank systems... We're pretty close to having self thinking computers. Hopefully they wont be dumb enough to build a computer system like skynet but you never know in this world anymore.

About the movies: 1-2 areawesome, 3 was a rehash of 2 that was ok, and 4 was ok. I really don't like how 3ignores the idea that "the future is not set in stone" and had a female Terminator just for sex appeal.

Except those people forgot that there were MGS games on GCN, Xbox and GBC, plus older Metal Gear games on MSX and NES,so it never really was a SONY exclusive. :roll:
