I was like you but I bought mine from Best Buy with my christmas bonus. I didnt have an HDTV either, but that lasted about a week before I caved in. lol. The biggest surprise was I got my wife excited about the idea and didnt even have to try to convince her. And to think, she was giving me S**t because I bought the PS3 instead of getting a Washing machine (ours works fine BTW). Women, they confuse the hell out of me but I love her.

i know how you feel. i'm supposed to be saving money to go back to college (i decided to take this year off after 2 straight years). but, i'm going to need something besides the booze to keep morale up while in the dorms right? and because of the ps3 my girl gets nothing but a hug and an i love you for christmas. oops

Stupid ebay has me hooked today i guess. I just bought CoD4 cause I forgot all about a stop sign ticket i'm supposed to have payed by thursday. but, i'm glad to hear that the component cable and headset will work. even though i'm getting them after christmas its cool cause my birthday is on the 28th.

Can I use my bluetooth headset that I use for my cell phone on the PS3 since it has bluetooth, and also will my PS2 component cable work on the PS3? Thanks for your patience for my dumb questions.

I just got bought a 40 GB PS3 from ebay for $340 shipped. I don't have a HDTV yet, but plan to get one when income taxes comes around yay! Any major problems with this thing? i got chrono cross at home and ive never beaten it. i had it every since it first came out years ago. is it worth it to go back and play? but i would have to start all over again cause i forgot the story. 30 hours i wasa already in it i think. i also have chrono trigger. should i finish that too? its a waste of post but w/e
