i bought a 40GB PS3 off ebay saturday for $340 shipped and brand new. it arrived monday and i played all day today. so i'd say spend some time on ebay.
go to half.ebay.com... best prices pretty much anywhere. Unless you can find some diamonds, (meaning games that are worth a ton more than pawnshops really know about)
I got oblivion for 22bucks. I got skate for 42 over a month and a half ago.. I got madden 08 2 months ago for 20. I've been buying games there since I found the site.. Think about it.. you save 5-20+ bucks on every game. I have 47 xbox games, bought some ps1 and dreamcast games, ds, ps3, even sega... in all well over 120 games through there.. at the least saving 500+ if saving just 5 bucks. $2000+ on 20$ savings. :D

same. i don't think i can bring myself to spend $60 plus tax on a game. i was crying about $50 until i started using ebay about 3 years ago. now i don't pay over $45. kazaaa!
I have a dell 9100 with a 3.0ghz pentium 4, nvidia 6800 gs with 256Mb, and 1.5 gb ddr2 533. If i take out the 1.5gb and put in 4gb over dual channel, will i be able to play resource heavy games? i can already play half life 2 and doom at 1280x 1024 on high settings. what about bioshock, and crysis. is it even worth it? im running xp by the way.
Another dumb question. I'm planning to buy a 32in Toshiba REGZA HDTV in a couple weeks. Should I leave the PS3 unopened in the box until I get the HDTV or just play it on the 20in CRT for the time being. I really want to be blown away the first time i fire up the PS3, but its gonna be hard to wait. Is it even worth it to play on the 20in?
