Geez, I can't believe people are actually complaining about this.... If they integrate this well with overall game experience I welcome it. I find it ridiculous that people are complaining about this. The an literally said it's an extra quest line, independent of the main story experience. If you have a smart device that supports smart glass you get the opportunity to experience these missions. If you don't, it won't effect you game. Surely there are better things in the world to complain about that smart glass enabled missions...

I truly am impressed by how off base this "report" is. The spreadsheet they speak off can be represented in a hundred different ways and there is no logical thought process that links the creation of a spreadsheet of previous mass murders and a person who plays games.

i appreciate that most games are competitive in nature but thats pretty much the point, competitive behaviour breeds aggression, not the medium used for competition. I find it laughable that sports athletes are praised for their aggression which stems from the competitive nature of their sport and yet gamers that exercise similar competitive aggression are label insane "kill bots".

Reading through the original article, the author provides no back up for his claims other than hearsay coming from a bunch of policemen happy to place blame on an already targeted social group instead of stating the most obvious conclusion one can arrive at, Crazy people do Crazy things.

@Whiskey3romeo you failed to get my point. The game is no longer as unplayable as the review suggests and thus the review appears out of place and when you consider this isn't the first always online game released, it seems odd to me that its the only one being hung over it. Like I said, Diablo 3 was far more broken and far more impossible to play compared to SimCity but yet that was given a pass. That in a nutshell is my issue. If Diablo 3 was pardoned its rocky start its only fair that SimCity be given the same treatment.

I personally think there should be two scores related to the game. The current score only reflects the state of affairs as of launch week. The game is already much more stable and much easier to play than stated in the review. Another issue I have with hammering the game over always online DRM is other reviews completely overlooked launch issues for arguably a much bigger game in Diablo 3. That game was just as unplayable for the majority as simcity was but yet reviews didn't hammer it over the starting online issues.

I have always trusted Kevin's reviews and I continue to do so. I appreciate his honest views but I do think the current score should be amended since the servers are up and running or two scores awarded to it, one reflecting week one performance and the other reflecting the game if the servers were alright. Just my thoughts on the matter.

@WhataName2 You miss the point of the review. If you want an average of reviews then look at the metacritic score, but who are you, or who am I to tell Kevin and the reviewing staff that their opinion on the game is incorrect? Different reviewers and sites have different standards and in all honesty, Kevin has been extremely consistent over the years as a reviewer. I personally really appreciate his take on the game since its clearer to me that the game is more flawed that simply an action game trying to be scary. Reviewing by definition is about opinion, saying someone's opinion is incorrect is the root of all meaningless debates on the internetz. And yes the irony of what I am doing is not lost on me :P

I appreciate Kevin saying it as it is. Sure other people will give the game half way decent scores but Im happy that Kevin took the time to point out the game's weaknesses and illustrate them so well. Good review me thinks.

@WhataName2 You logic is flawed due to the fact that 4.5 means poor not broken. And based on the review, I can see where Kevin was coming from. I dislike the notion that a score sub 7 means complete trash since that just proves that people don't have the ability to comprehend a scoring system. 4.5 means its a poor game, only play it if you think you can handle all its short comings and fight the game insisting you not enjoy it. That doesn't make it broken, it just makes it.... poor

@Bluejays2008 So I'm not the only one... It's ridiculous at times. Impossible dives or your receivers just watch the ball fly through their hands.

Am I the only one that found it odd that Ray Lewis handled the intro so brilliantly by yet good old Calvin Johnson is on the cover? I mean, if you stick an athlete on the cover, at least give him something to do in the intro other than be on the start screen ;)

That said, I'm enjoying the game. First Madden since 2010, so I'm liking some of the changes. Although its beyond me why the expect me to visit three different screens just to select a game to play in career mode... Silly design if you ask me.
