I hear you, my girlfriend bought me a used PSP on the weekend and now I'm afraid to tell her that it was a waste of money. I'm seriously dissapointed even more in Sony now. I guess I'll have to get a bunch of old games for it just to not think about the new games I cannot get.

My profile says old school, but I am just as much a new schooler though. I play whatever whenever, never take on a specific timeline. I can always go back to old games but stay in tune with the upcoming and recent releases.

It really depends on the game, but usually I do because my power goes out often here. So doing things over and over is a nuisance, I tend to oversave.

Can't remember, but I must say do not include the Magneton as you already have a steel type, combined with your grass type that makes a major weakness to fire types. Though it really only matters about speed anyway, a quick dragon could wipe the enemy anyway. It comes down to what exactly you are planning on doing, there will almost always be someone out there that could mop the floor with whatever you have.

Starcraft was my first, though I'd say Diablo II took up way more of my time.

Not sure why it happens, but yes I agree completely with your statements. Halo got better by a little bit yet everyone craved it so, however changes made to other series are far overlooked and once played still underrated. But it all comes down to opinion and leadership, one person can say Halo is the greatest thing alive and then that spreads like a disease. However, someone's opinion might be it is monontanous and prefer a different style of game, simply overlooking the "people's view". Basically, you cannot judge a game completely until you have played it yourself.

Play Manhunt, then you know what needless violence is all about. Oh and it is only a game, after all there are movies just as aggressive without a necessity. I didn't read through all what you typed but from the first part comes my reply, it isn't made to hurt peoples feelings but to make money and perhaps vent. I don't know about you, but I for one think if a person wants to shoot aliens in a video game or steal someone's car and beat them to death in a video game is a lot better than it happening in real life.

I'd say go with Rock Band since there is more to do, though don't get it if it is going to create issues of insecurity down the road with feeling alone and why can't you get friends to hear you hit that wicked awesome solo. So if that isn't an issue, you're good to go lol.

Dude I highly doubt any game will get a WoW addict away from the computer, though you could try Assassin's Creed, Jericho or Call of Duty 4. Some people like Need for Speed Pro Street but I think that will be ineffective.

Not that I can recall, though a friend of mine has bought a Yugioh game twice just for the rare cards you get in the game. Oh I think I did for gamecube and ps2, the Need for Speed Underground.
